A black opal pendant with diamond baille

A beautiful balck opal pendand set with a 0.25 carat transition cut diamond baille.  The black opal has full colour-play and the background colour is of N5.  The brightness of the body colour is 4 and the type of gem patterning it fits into is broadflash.  With brilliant flashes of red, green, violet, orange and turquoise it is an elegant pendant.  Set in 15carat gold this pendant dates to around 1900.  It comes with a 16.5 inch period 9ct chain.  The cut-away slider baille gives optimum movement to the pendant and shows the opal to full advantage.
